My Experience With Local Networking Groups

When I first started my business everybody told me to do local networking. So I did. About 4 months in I quit.

Here’s why…

Once I knew who my target customer was and where they existed I realized I would never reach them via my local networking group.

The group was filled with amazing people, but none of which were my ideal client or had access to my ideal client.

What I’ve learned is there are no cookie cutter solutions in business. What worked for some may not work for you. But as long as you’ve done your research and YOU know what works for your business you’ll always be okay.

Since I left I have landed more clients than ever and none of them are local and all of them are amazing.

So again, figure out what works for you in your business and do it.
